Today, Ed Damm leads ACCU Staffing forward as COO, building on the years he has devoted to this company. And this Father’s Day, his thoughts, like so many of ours, turn to a man who helped shape him and all of us: his father, Edward J. Damm (1932 to 2021).
Mr. Damm came to ACCU later in life. After a 35-year career at RCA/GE, where he became a National Sales Manager, he joined the company. He never sought the spotlight, but the wisdom he brought with him left a lasting mark. Above all, he was a numbers man, with a gift for seeing the story behind the figures and making smart, disciplined decisions.
Mr. Damm shared that wisdom generously. He mentored our sales and leadership teams, but his philosophy reached further than that, because he made a point of talking with everyone. His heart was big and he cared for all. More than hitting our numbers, he wanted to see us grow.
“No one succeeds alone.”
Perhaps his most lasting lesson had nothing to do with sales at all. More than anyone, Mr. Damm reminded the people of ACCU how to work together as a team. He understood that no one succeeds alone, and he modeled that belief every single day. That spirit is still part of who we are.

Father’s Day is a time to give thanks for the people who guide us and show us how to be our best selves. For so many of us at ACCU, Mr. Damm was exactly that kind of figure: a steady hand, a wise voice, and a role model whose example we still strive to live up to.
Thank you, Mr. Damm, for everything you taught us. Your legacy lives on in all of us.
Happy Father’s Day from all of us at ACCU Staffing.
